Here’s how to get a clean, sharp finish every time. Start at the centre Place the bullet at the centre of the upper lip at the cupid’s bow and draw outward to each corner. Then fill in the lower lip from the centre out. Matte formulas show every stroke — starting at the centre gives you control from the most visible point. Press and blend Press lips together firmly once to distribute the colour evenly and set the formula to the lip. This step also removes excess product from the centre and gives the matte its characteristic flat, even finish rather than a shiny pressed look. Layer or gloss For deeper pigment, apply a second coat before pressing lips together again. For a glossy-matte hybrid, layer the High Shine Lip Oil or Peptide Lip Lacquer directly over the top — the matte base creates staying power while the gloss adds dimension.
